The Skill Assessment Australia process depends on whether you have or do not have an Australian qualification or an Australian occupational license
Those who do not hold an Australian qualification or occupational license will be coming under pathway 1.
If you are eligible for a trade skills assessment and have the skills for the nominated occupation, you need to provide proof of your employment, skills, and qualification. Your proof must show that you have at least three years of experience in your occupation. These three years of work experience must be verifiable.
An assessor / assessing team will review the documentary evidence provided to check if you have sufficient employment experience and skills required to work in your occupation in Australia. When reviewing the documentary evidence, the assessor / assessing team will conduct checks including calling/mailing your referees to confirm whether your information is genuine.
Those who hold an Australian qualification or occupational license will be coming under pathway 2.
An assessor/assessing team will review the evidence you provide to check if you have sufficient employment experience, and if the Australian qualification meets the Pathway Two requirements. The assessor/assessing team will conduct checks to confirm if your information is genuine.
